This Privacy Policy describes how Black Banner Printworks ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use BinBook. By using BinBook you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, company name, and password when you sign up.
• Billing information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We retain your billing email and subscription status.
• Job and customer data: Customer names, addresses, phone numbers, job details, notes, and photos you enter into BinBook.
• Usage data: Log data, device type, browser, IP address, and pages visited, used to maintain and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the BinBook service.
• To process your subscription and billing via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails such as account confirmation and billing receipts.
• To respond to support requests.
• To improve the platform using anonymized, aggregated usage data.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your customer data for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database platform. Photos and job records are stored in encrypted databases. We use industry-standard security practices including row-level security to ensure your data is isolated from other users.

Data loss disclaimer: While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we cannot guarantee against data loss due to hardware failure, software bugs, cyberattacks, or other unforeseen events. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical business records. We are not liable for any loss of data stored in BinBook.

4. Your Customers' Data

You are the data controller for your customers' information stored in BinBook. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your customers to store their contact information and property photos. We process that data only on your behalf to provide the service.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate BinBook:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and deployment

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your account, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.
